What we collect

To run TrigQR for your company, we collect:

  • Account details: name, email address and the company you work for.
  • The equipment, tickets and photos your team enters: machine and line records, breakdown reports, repair notes and photos taken during a ticket.
  • Device and log data: the browser or device you use, IP address, and records of what happened and when, which we use to keep the service reliable and secure.

Why we collect it

We use this information to run the service for your company: to sign your team in, show the right tickets and equipment to the right people, send the notifications you ask for, and keep the system working and secure. We do not use your data to advertise to you.

Who can see it

Your company's data is visible only to the users your company has added, according to the role each user is given. It is also visible to our hosting provider, who stores and runs the service on our behalf and does not use it for any purpose of their own.

Where it is stored

Data is stored with our hosting provider on servers in [hosting region to be confirmed]. We take reasonable steps to keep it secure, including encryption in transit.

How long we keep it

We keep your company's data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you want to return, or as needed to meet a legal obligation. You can ask us to delete your company's data sooner, subject to any records we are required to keep.

Your rights

Depending on where you are, you have rights over your personal data, which usually include the right to access what we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, and complain to a regulator if you think we have got something wrong.

  • In the United Kingdom, the regulator is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
  • In South Africa, the regulator is the Information Regulator, under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
